Stopping Other Kinds of Harassment or Abuse
Domestic Violence Protection Orders only apply when the abuse is between people who live together, share children, or are in a close relationship. Issues that involve neighbors, co-workers, or others who are bothering or harassing you are NOT covered by the Domestic Violence Prevention Act procedures discussed on this site. Instead, these situations are covered by civil harassment restraining orders. You can follow this link for more information about this kind of restraining order: Judicial Council form CH-150. |
