Can Court Fees be Waived?

There is no charge to file papers at the court for a person seeking protection with a Domestic Violence Restraining Order.

However, if the person seeking protection wants the sheriff or marshall to "serve" Opens new window their papers at no charge, he or she needs to fill out the fee waiver forms below.


First, read the information sheet and then fill out Forms FW-001 and FW-003:
