Fee Waivers

In most cases, you have to pay a fee to file papers with the court. The fees are a little different in each county. Usually counties have their fee schedules posted on their court's web site.

For some people who do not earn enough money, the court will say that they do not have to pay the fees. This is called a "fee waiver." To find out if you qualify for a fee waiver, read:
